I
sometimes follow Robert in his speeches and talk
about What one person can do and I always
mention the Peace Corner in every home, school,
office, etc. Here,
on this webpage is where I will show samples of
signs and photographs of Peace Corners, read a few
letters from kids, and include letter's like this
one. Here's
the letter from Phil after our speeches on
Sunday...Here he mentions they are working on a
Peace Corner Badge for the Girl Scouts. I invented
the Peace Corner so people could leave Our speeches
and have a simple idea to implement to remember
Peace is possible and that we all are part of the
Peace Making process.
I can't
begin to thank you both enough for your wonderful
presentations at our lecture series yesterday. You were
both absolutely terrific! So motivated and full of
inspiring recommendations for the work that we are
collectively involved in. I am
personally thankful for your honesty regarding how hard the
work of peace can be at times and most importantly how
important it is to not give up. Yes, don't give up!!! I
often feel like Robert by late evening (down in the dumps)
and yet am ready to try again with the dawning of a new day.
Thank you for helping me realize I am not alone in these
types of feelings. Barbara,
I especially wanted to make sure you know how much my family
appreciated your generosity. The gift of all the peace
corners is something we truly appreciate and cherish. Your
gift of Roberts writings make wonderful additions to our
growing PAX 2100 library of peace. In addition, your offer
to give us $20 of your proceeds from the days sales was
extremely generous. Of course, I could hardly accept the
additional gift after you and Robert had already given so
generously of your time. Thank you!!! My wife
Vicky was also truly inspired by your reflection on the
peace corner idea...as you may have heard she will be
rolling out the "peace corner" curriculum to the girls
scouts in the next two weeks. I'm sure it will be very well
received. Thanks
again for all you both are doing to make this world a better
place to live. Many
blessings, Phil
Dear Barbara and Robert,
