Costa Rica which was one of the first sizable countries to demilitarize itself should become world famous for two more firsts:
- to create a Ministry of Peace and Non-violence (including the police renamed peace agents)
- to create a Ministry of Happiness

-A Contribution to the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations, 1995, Chapter 6 | Strangely, the UN cannot guarantee what it was established for, namely peace. Why? Because it is based entirely on the goodwill of nations and has no enforcement power. It is as if for a large city one would say: there is no need for law and order, all that people have to do is to be nice to each other.
The nation-state has contributed much to the advancement of social justice. Law protects, while unlawfulness gives a free hand to the rich and powerful. Therefore we need a world-state with the same function as the nation-state, but world-wide. The rich and powerful invade and rule the world, because there is no world law, no world-state, only a free-for-all jungle for the powerful and rich.

You are exactly right, (as usual). The World Core Curriculum meets your qualifications.
A new school is just starting in Namibia! Many people recognize the need and it is only a matter of time until the World Core Curriculum finds implementation throughout our world. Nothing else will bring the education which is needed and desired by all young people on the planet.

Hello,
Currently, I'm a Program Manager working for a Technology company near San Jose, CA, and I have just completed my MBA. Ten years ago, I was in the Peace Corps in Hungary.
I had read the Ode article and it brought me to my Dream -> International Environmental, Marine, and Animal protection. I want to change my career and dedicate my time to these areas.
I would appreciate if you know of someone I could talk to to give me advice of how I can quickly move into this area as a Director or Senior Program Manager, I would appreciate it.
