Ending War

~ Idea 2489 ~

We have been able to solve racial apartheid since the end of World War II, but a new, immensely wider and deeper apartheid has grown world-wide between nations and inside nations: the economic apartheid between rich and poor everywhere on this planet.

I recommend that economic apartheid be inscribed as a priority item on the agenda of the United Nations.

Robert's Golden Sayings
Happiness, i.e. fulfillment, plenitude of oneself, maximum consciousness, love for one’s life should be the main concern and objective of life and of society. The feeling of happiness is the test that we are doing the right thing, that we are in gear with the universe and fulfilling the will of God.

My Testament to the UN
-A Contribution to the 50th Anniversary of the United Nations, 1995, Chapter 8

The great political thinkers of our time are badly failing in their responsibilities. They pay no attention to the ways in which this planet should be managed. They pay even less attention to the first school of planetary management: the United Nations and its agencies. They discuss instead the "balance of power" and the endless byzantine intricacies of 'foreign" or international relations and diplomacy. They should be ashamed of themselves.

A nation could not survive if it lost all of its people: it would merely be an empty shell. But throughout history, billions of people have survived the loss of their nation. Why then so much fuss about nations? Because they need that fuss to exist and to survive.

Re: [GMW #877] An International Environment Organization

Good Morning Jude,
Thank you first for subscribing to Good Morning World and second for your question about the structure for such an environmental was mentioned in today's GMW...
I have these ideas in my
The Earth today is #1 priority.. We must preserve it for all future generations...and we can when we work together with every action we take.
And when in doubt ask yourself..if 6 billion people did this would it help or destroy our precious Earth?
In peace and love, Barbara and Robert Muller

Dear Mr. Robert Muller,

I fully subscribe to your Idea 6095 of having an International Environment Organization. But what should be its structure, mandate and objectives?

Yesterday i was given the opportunity to open a door for a mother carrying her toddler - that small act of service gave me joy for quite sometime. I often think how easy it really could be if little things like that were multiplied all over the globe. We can all be winners.
