The Rio de Janeiro 1992 world conference on the environment created an Earth Council in Costa Rica linked with the UN University for Peace there. For lack of financial support and other reasons it failed and was closed.
I recommend that we should plan and think much bigger and create a Planet Earth Cosmic Council, which would give necessary guidance to humanity's next evolutionary role and phase: to make out of the Earth a paradise, a tremendous success in the vast universe after millions of years.

Reconciliation between the US and the USSR was considered impossible ten years ago.
Yet it all became true.
Today friendship between the Arabs and Jews is considered impossible.
Today the demilitarization of the entire planet is considered impossible
Today total peace is considered impossible
Today world democratic government is considered impossible
And yet it will all become true.
