I still have many dreams in store for the third millennium. My last dream is to be buried on sacred Mt. Rasur in demilitarized Costa Rica, the country of my dreams, and to be actively used by God as a spirit or saint to continue doing good on Earth. * We have the obligation to dream and no rights to fulfillment. Our dreams might come true only after our death. If your dream does not come true, don't give up. You will see it come true from heaven. 1966: Two major covenants on human rights are adopted, one covering Civil and Political Rights and the other Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. The former has an "Optional Protocol" allowing individual complaints to be considered by the International Human Rights Committee. Together, the two binding instruments cover most of the rights included in the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Security Council for the first time in UN history, imposes mandatory sanctions against Southern Rhodesia, where a racist white minority government unilaterally declared independence from Britain in 1965. The Assembly ends South Africa's mandate over the Territory of South West Africa, saying it has failed to fulflll its obligations. * |
