One has to pay a toll of 100 colones to drive by car on the road to the airport. That is a small sum of 25 US cents but who thinks of the numerous of tons of additional gasoline used around the world to restart stopped cars at all the innumerable tolls around the world? I am one of the few ones, but no one listens to my requests that all road tolls in the world should be abolished.

I recommend that the United Nations Environment Program publish every year a list of human actions which are unnecessary but do damage to the world's natural environment.
